1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your HONITURE V8 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Do not operate the robot in wet environments or near water.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not use to pick up large objects, sharp objects, or burning/smoking materials.
  • Ensure the charging dock is placed against a wall on a level surface.
  • Supervise children and pets when the robot is operating.
  • Only use the original power adapter and charging dock provided by the manufacturer.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging Station Placement

Place the charging station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter (3 feet) to the sides and 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front. Connect the power adapter to the charging station and plug it into a power outlet.

4.2 Initial Charging

Place the robot onto the charging station. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the station. The robot will begin charging automatically. For first-time use, fully charge the robot before operation (approximately 4-5 hours).

4.3 App Connection (2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only)

Download the HONITURE app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home Wi-Fi network. Note that the V8 Pro only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting a Cleaning Cycle

Press the power button on the robot or use the app to start a cleaning cycle. The robot will automatically map your home using its LDS radar and SLAM algorithm, identifying furniture and obstacles for efficient cleaning paths.

5.2 Cleaning Modes and Settings

The V8 Pro offers multiple cleaning modes and adjustable settings via the app:

  • Auto Cleaning: The robot intelligently plans the best route.
  • Spot Cleaning: Focuses on a specific dirty area.
  • Edge Cleaning: Cleans along walls and furniture edges.
  • Zigzag Cleaning: Efficient, systematic cleaning pattern.
  • Suction Power: Adjustable to 4 levels (Gentle, Standard, Powerful, Max 5000 PA).
  • Water Flow: Adjustable to 3 levels for mopping.

5.3 3-in-1 Vacuum, Mop, and Sweep Function

The V8 Pro features a combined dustbin and water tank, allowing it to vacuum, sweep, and mop simultaneously. This is ideal for various floor types including ceramic tiles, wood floors, and marble.

5.4 Smart Features

  • Multi-Floor Mapping: The robot can store up to 5 maps, allowing it to operate efficiently in multi-story homes.
  • Customized Cleaning: Use the app to name different zones, set specific suction/water levels, and define no-go zones or virtual walls.
  • Automatic Recharge & Resume: The robot returns to its charging station when the battery is low and resumes cleaning from where it left off once recharged.
  • Carpet Boost: Automatically increases suction power to maximum when detecting carpets for deeper cleaning.
  • Obstacle Avoidance: Equipped with multiple sensor groups to intelligently identify furniture, stairs, and other obstacles.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin and Water Tank

After each cleaning cycle, remove the 2-in-1 dustbin and water tank. Empty the dustbin and rinse the water tank. Clean the mop cloth if used.

6.2 Cleaning Brushes and Filter

  • Main Brush: Remove the main brush and use the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris. Clean weekly.
  • Side Brushes: Check side brushes for wear or damage. Clean any tangled hair. Replace if worn. Clean monthly.
  • High-Efficiency Filter: Tap the filter to remove dust. Do not wash with water. Replace every 3-6 months depending on usage.

6.3 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

Wipe all sensors (LDS sensor, cliff sensors, wall sensors) and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging station with a clean, dry cloth monthly.

7. Troubleshooting
