Setup and First Use

The KFD power adapter is designed for plug-and-play operation. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Verify Compatibility: Before connecting, confirm that your vacuum cleaner requires a 35V, 500mA (17.5W) power supply and has a compatible 2-pin Type F connector. Refer to your vacuum cleaner's manual or its original charger for specifications.
  2. Connect to Vacuum: Insert the adapter's output plug firmly into the charging port of your cordless vacuum cleaner.
  3. Connect to Power Outlet: Plug the adapter's European 2-pin Type F plug into a standard wall power outlet.

Operating Instructions

Once properly connected, the KFD power adapter will automatically begin charging your compatible cordless vacuum cleaner. No further user interaction is required during the charging process.

  • Allow the vacuum cleaner to charge fully for optimal battery life. Refer to your vacuum cleaner's manual for typical charging times.
  • Disconnect the adapter from the wall outlet and then from the vacuum cleaner once charging is complete or when the vacuum is not in use.

This adapter is not suitable for models requiring different voltage or current specifications, or those with incompatible connector types. Specifically, it is not compatible with models like AEG AG5012, AG5012T, AG5020, AG5022, ZB5012, ZB5020, ZB5022, ZB5024G, or any device requiring a 5517 connector type if different from the adapter's.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the adapter from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the adapter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the power cable. Do not wrap the cable too tightly around the adapter. The cable is designed for durability, withstanding multiple bends.

Troubleshooting
