2. Important Safety Information
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury, or damage, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

4. Compatible Cookware
The CUSIMAX Induction Cooktop requires cookware with a magnetic bottom to function correctly. This includes:
- Cast iron
- Enameled iron and steel
- Stainless steel with a magnetic bottom
- Cast aluminum with a magnetic bottom
To check if your existing cookware is compatible, simply place a magnet on the bottom of the pot or pan. If the magnet sticks, your cookware is suitable for induction cooking.
The recommended diameter for cookware is between 4.7 inches (12cm) and 10.2 inches (26cm) for optimal performance.

5. Setup
- Place the induction cooktop on a dry, stable, and level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Plug the cooktop into a standard North American household power outlet (120V 15A).
- Place compatible cookware centrally on the cook zone. Ensure the bottom of the cookware is clean and dry.
6. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your CUSIMAX Induction Cooktop:
6.1 Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on. The display will light up.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the unit off.
6.2 Adjusting Power and Temperature
- After turning on, the cooktop defaults to a manual mode.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the power level (200W to 1800W) or temperature (140°F to 464°F).
- Press the Select button to switch between Power and Temperature modes.
6.3 Using Automatic Cooking Menus
The cooktop features 8 automatic cooking menus. Press the Select button repeatedly to cycle through the following options:
- Keep Warm: Semi-automatic function. LED display shows "400". Timer range 0:01-3:00.
- Simmer: Semi-automatic function. LED display shows "800". Timer range 0:01-3:00.
- Milk: Automatic function. LED display shows "1000". Timer range 0:01-3:00.
- Steam: Semi-automatic function. LED display shows "1200". Timer range 0:01-3:00.
- Boil: Automatic function. LED display shows "1500". Power level is not adjustable. Timer function is not workable for "Boil".
- Fry: Semi-automatic function. LED display shows "1700". Timer range 0:01-3:00.
- Deep Fry: Automatic function. LED display shows "1300". Timer range 0:01-3:00.
- Boost: Automatic function. LED display shows "1800W". Timer function is not workable for "Boost".
6.4 Setting the Timer
- Press the Timer button. The display will show "0:00".
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired cooking time (up to 3 hours).
- The timer will count down, and the cooktop will automatically turn off when the time expires.
6.5 Child Safety Lock
- To activate the child lock, hold the Child Lock button for 3 seconds. The display will show "L" (Locked).
- To deactivate, hold the Child Lock button again for 3 seconds.
