Setup: Battery Installation

- Unscrew the front bezel of the lantern by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Carefully remove the lens and reflector assembly.
- Insert 2 or 4 D-cell alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the lens and reflector assembly, then screw the front bezel back on clockwise until secure. Do not overtighten.

- Press the power button once to turn the lantern ON.
- Press the power button again to turn the lantern OFF.
