Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your RS775 motor and gearbox. Please review the following guidelines carefully before proceeding with the installation.
Compatibility and Measurement
Before installation, it is essential to compare the dimensions of the RS775 motor gearbox with your original motor gearbox. The installation holes for this motor gearbox may be larger than those for RS550 motors due to its larger diameter. Accurate measurements ensure a perfect fit.
- Shaft Hole Diameter: 12mm (0.47 inches)
- Length: 185mm (7.28 inches)
- Max Width: 92mm (3.62 inches)
- Motor Diameter: 40mm (1.574 inches)

Electrical Requirements and Connection
This RS775 motor is a high-power unit (280W) and requires specific electrical components for safe and effective operation. It is designed for use with a 24V battery system.
- Control Box: Must be 40A or above.
- Fuse: Must be 25A or above.
Failure to use a matching control box and fuse of the specified ratings carries a risk of damaging the capacitor or other components.

The motor features one-click installation wires for direct connection, eliminating the need for welding. Ensure the connection buckle is pressed firmly to secure the wires.

Operating Instructions
The RS775 motor gearbox is designed to provide high performance for ride-on cars. Its output speed varies depending on the input voltage.
- 24V Power Supply: Power output is 280W, and the gearbox outputs approximately 360 RPM (Revolutions Per Minute).
- 18V Power Supply: Power output is 200W, and the gearbox outputs approximately 270 RPM.
- 12V Power Supply: The gearbox outputs approximately 180 RPM.
While designed for 24V, this motor can be used with a 12V battery. However, the speed will be reduced by half compared to 24V operation. Despite the reduced speed at 12V, the gearbox design still provides a fast speed relative to typical 12V systems.

The gearbox speed ratio is 1:75, which contributes to a higher output speed. The high-power motor ensures a robust torque output for improved vehicle performance.
Maintenance
The RS775 motor gearbox is constructed with durable materials for extended service life. The gearbox shell is made from high-strength composite materials that resist deformation. Both the small and large gears incorporate built-in bearings to minimize friction, and the middle gear is made of metal, further enhancing durability.

While designed for low maintenance, periodic inspection of the gearbox for any signs of wear or damage is recommended. Ensure that the motor and gearbox are kept free from excessive dirt, dust, and moisture to prevent premature wear. No specific lubrication or disassembly for maintenance is typically required for this sealed unit.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your RS775 motor gearbox, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Motor Not Functioning / No Power:
- Verify that the control box is rated 40A or above and the fuse is 25A or above. Insufficient ratings can lead to component damage or malfunction.
- Check all electrical connections, ensuring they are secure and properly seated. The one-click installation wires should be fully engaged.
- Confirm the battery is fully charged and providing the correct voltage (12V, 18V, or 24V).
- Reduced Speed / Performance:
- Ensure the battery voltage matches the intended operating voltage. Using a 12V battery with a motor designed for 24V will result in approximately half the speed.
- Check for any obstructions or excessive friction in the vehicle's drivetrain that might be hindering motor performance.
- Unusual Noise / Vibration:
- Inspect the gearbox for any loose components or foreign objects.
- Ensure the motor gearbox is securely mounted to the vehicle chassis.
- While some noise is normal for high-speed motors, excessive or new noises may indicate an issue.
- Fitment Issues During Installation:
- Re-measure the dimensions of the RS775 motor gearbox and compare them to the available space in your vehicle. Modifications to the vehicle's body or mounting points may be necessary, especially when upgrading from smaller motors like the RS550.
If problems persist after attempting these steps, contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
