  1. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to a suitable power outlet (120V or 240V, depending on your setup and desired cutting power). Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the OFF position before connecting.
  2. Air Supply Connection:
    • Attach the air regulator to the "AIR IN" port on the rear panel.
    • Connect your external air compressor hose to the air regulator. Ensure the air pressure is set according to the specifications (typically 60-70 PSI for optimal performance).
  3. Cutting Torch Connection: Insert the cutting torch cable connector into the "Cutting Torch Interface" socket on the front panel and twist to secure. Connect the torch switch socket cable.
  4. Ground Clamp Connection: Connect the ground clamp cable to the "+" output terminal on the front panel. Securely attach the ground clamp to the workpiece or work table, ensuring good electrical contact.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: After all connections are secure, turn the power switch on the rear panel to the "ON" position. The digital display on the front panel will illuminate.
  2. Adjust Current: Use the "Current Adjust" knob on the front panel to set the desired cutting amperage. The digital display will show the selected current. Refer to the cutting chart for recommended settings based on material type and thickness.
  3. Initiate Arc: Position the torch nozzle approximately 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch above the workpiece. Press the torch trigger to initiate the pilot arc. The non-touch pilot arc will establish without needing to contact the metal.
  4. Begin Cutting: Once the pilot arc is established, move the torch steadily across the material to begin cutting. Maintain a consistent travel speed for a clean cut.

3.2 Cutting Capabilities

The RBC6000DL is capable of cutting a variety of metals with precision.

3.3 Safety Precautions

Always prioritize safety when operating the plasma cutter. Failure to follow safety guidelines can result in serious injury or damage to equipment.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Consumables Replacement

Regular inspection and replacement of torch consumables are crucial for optimal cutting performance and extended torch life. The AG60 torch uses specific tips, electrodes, shielded cups, and gas rings.

Replace consumables when you notice a decrease in cut quality, difficulty in initiating the arc, or visible wear on the tip or electrode. Always ensure the machine is powered off and disconnected from the power source before changing consumables.

4.2 Air Filter Maintenance

The air regulator includes a filter to remove moisture and contaminants from the air supply. Regularly check the filter bowl for accumulated water and drain it as needed. A clean air supply is essential for consistent arc performance and consumable longevity.

4.3 General Cleaning

Keep the plasma cutter unit clean and free of dust and metal particles. Use a dry, clean cloth to wipe down the exterior. Periodically check cooling vents for obstructions and clear them to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
