The SURFOU Wireless Doorbell offers flexible installation options. No complex wiring is required.

3.1 Transmitter (Push Button) Installation

Choose a suitable location near your door. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.

1. Method 1: Adhesive Tape Installation
   • Clean the back of the transmitter and the desired mounting surface.
   • Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and attach it firmly to the back of the transmitter.
   • Peel off the other side of the tape and press the transmitter firmly onto the wall for at least 30 seconds.
2. Method 2: Screw Installation
   • Open the back cover of the transmitter using the provided mini screwdriver.
   • Mark the desired mounting points on the wall through the screw holes on the transmitter's back plate.
   • Drill two holes at the marked positions. Insert the wall anchors if installing on masonry or drywall.
   • Align the transmitter's back plate with the holes and secure it with the provided screws.
   • Close the back cover of the transmitter.

3.2 Receiver (Chime Unit) Setup

The receiver is designed for plug-and-play convenience.

• Simply plug the receiver into any standard electrical outlet indoors.
• Ensure the receiver is within the effective wireless range of the transmitter (up to 300 meters in open areas).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Changing Melodies

1. Press the 'Melody Selection' button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the 55 available ringtones.
2. Once you hear your desired melody, stop pressing the button. The doorbell will automatically save this selection.

4.2 Adjusting Volume

1. Press the 'Volume Control' button on the side of the receiver to adjust the volume level.
2. There are 5 volume levels, ranging from 0dB (mute) to 110dB. Cycle through them until you reach your preferred volume.
3. The receiver will remember your last volume setting.

4.3 Pairing Additional Transmitters/Receivers (Optional)

If you have purchased additional SURFOU wireless doorbell components, you can easily pair them:

1. Plug in the new receiver.
2. Press and hold the 'Volume Control' button on the receiver for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a 'ding' sound and the LED indicator flashes rapidly. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
