Setup

1. Unpacking and Assembly

  1. Remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Place the main unit on a flat, stable surface.
  3. Attach the food container to the main unit, ensuring it is securely seated.
  4. Insert the two-way food splitter into the dispenser outlet if you intend to use two bowls. If using one bowl, omit this step.
  5. Place the stainless steel bowls under the dispenser outlets.

2. Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply for continuous operation.

  • Adapter Power: Connect the power adapter to the feeder's power port and plug it into a wall outlet.
  • Battery Backup: For backup power during outages, install 3 x D-size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. It is recommended to use both power sources simultaneously.

3. Filling the Food Container

  1. Open the lid of the food container.
  2. Pour dry pet food into the container. Ensure the kibble size is appropriate (0.19-0.47 inches).
  3. Place the desiccant packet into the designated compartment on the underside of the lid to maintain food freshness.
  4. Close the lid securely to keep food fresh and prevent pets from accessing it.

Operating Instructions

1. Control Panel Overview

The control panel features a digital display and several buttons for programming:

  • MENU Button: Enters programming mode and confirms settings.
  • UP/DOWN Buttons: Adjust values (time, portions, meals).
  • RECORD Button: Records or plays voice messages.
  • MANUAL FEED Button: Dispenses food manually.
  • LOCK Button: Prevents accidental button presses.

2. Setting the Current Time

  1. Press and hold the MENU button until the hour digit flashes.
  2. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the current hour.
  3. Press MENU to confirm and move to the minute setting.
  4. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the current minute.
  5. Press MENU to save the time setting.

3. Programming Feeding Schedule

You can program up to 6 meals per day.

  1. Press the MENU button repeatedly until 'Meal 1' appears on the display.
  2. Use UP/DOWN to set the desired feeding time for Meal 1 (hour then minute). Press MENU after each setting.
  3. Next, set the number of portions for Meal 1 (1-24 portions). One portion is approximately 5-6 grams, depending on kibble size. Use UP/DOWN and press MENU.
  4. Repeat steps 2-3 for 'Meal 2' through 'Meal 6' as needed. If a meal is not set, it will not dispense food.
  5. After setting all desired meals, press MENU to exit programming mode.

4. Voice Recording

Record a 10-second voice message to call your pets at meal times.

  1. Press and hold the RECORD button until you hear a beep.
  2. Speak your message into the microphone (located near the control panel) within 10 seconds.
  3. Release the RECORD button to save the message. The message will play automatically during each scheduled feeding.
  4. To disable the voice message, press the RECORD button twice quickly. Repeat to re-enable.

5. Manual Feeding

To dispense food instantly, press the MANUAL FEED button. Each press will dispense one portion of food.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning.

  1. Unplug the feeder from the power outlet and remove any batteries.
  2. Remove the food container, lid, two-way splitter, and stainless steel bowls.
  3. These removable parts are washable. They can be placed on the top rack of a dishwasher or hand-washed with mild soap and water.
  4. The main unit (base with control panel) should not be immersed in water. Wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and refilling with food.

2. Desiccant Replacement

The desiccant packet helps keep food fresh and dry. Replace it every 1-2 months, or as needed, depending on humidity levels.
