Setup

1. Charge the Device

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the repeller.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. The battery indicator lights will illuminate to show charging progress. A full charge typically takes several hours.
4. Once fully charged, the device provides approximately 5.5 hours of continuous operation.

2. Insert the Repellent Cartridge

1. Remove the cap from the repellent cartridge.
2. Insert the cartridge into the designated slot on the top of the repeller unit. Ensure it is seated firmly.

Operating Instructions

1. Activating the Device

1. Place the repeller on a flat, stable surface in your desired outdoor area. For optimal performance, place it upwind of your location.
2. Press the power button once to turn the device on. The indicator lights will illuminate, and the device will begin to heat up.
3. Allow approximately 15 minutes for the device to reach full operating temperature and establish the 20-foot (6-meter) protection zone.

2. Deactivating the Device

1. To turn off the device, press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn off.
2. Ensure the device is completely off before storing or moving it.

Maintenance

1. Replacing Repellent Cartridges

Repellent cartridges typically last for 12 hours of use. When the cartridge is empty, replace it with a new Thermacell E-ZoneGuard refill cartridge.

2. Gently pull out the used cartridge from the top of the device.
3. Insert a new Thermacell E-ZoneGuard refill cartridge, ensuring it clicks into place.
