4. Setup

Unpacking and Placement:

  • Carefully remove all packaging materials from the ice maker.
  • Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 15 cm clearance on all sides).

Before First Use:

  • Clean the interior of the ice maker thoroughly before its first use (refer to the Maintenance section).
  • If the ice maker was tilted during transport, allow it to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

5. Operation

Adding Water:

Open the lid of the ice maker and fill the water tank with clean, potable water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated inside the tank.

Selecting Ice Cube Size:

The HZB-16AL allows you to choose between different ice cube sizes. Refer to the control panel for the specific button or indicator to select your preferred size (e.g., small or large).

Starting Ice Production:

Plug the ice maker into a grounded power outlet. Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the control panel. The machine will begin the ice-making cycle, and the indicator light will illuminate.

Smart Features:

  • Full Ice Sensor: The ice maker is equipped with a sensor that detects when the ice basket is full. Once full, the machine will automatically pause ice production to prevent overflow.
  • Low Water Protection: If the water level in the tank is too low, the machine will indicate this (e.g., with a 'Add Water' light) and pause operation until water is refilled.
