Slide the quick release plate with the camera into the clamp on the ball head. Tighten the clamp knob to secure the camera in place. Always double-check that the camera is firmly attached before letting go.
Operating Instructions
1. Adjusting Tripod Height and Angle
The tripod legs can be independently adjusted for height and angle. Use the leg locks to extend or retract each section. The leg angle stops allow for three different angles to adapt to various terrains and shooting requirements.

2. Using the Ball Head
The compact ball head allows for flexible camera positioning. Loosen the main locking knob to adjust the camera's angle. Tighten the knob to secure the camera in the desired position.
3. Panoramic Shooting
For panoramic shots, ensure the tripod is level using the integrated bubble level. Loosen the panorama knob located at the base of the ball head. This allows the head to rotate 360 degrees smoothly without affecting the camera's tilt. Once the panorama is complete, tighten the knob to lock the rotation.

4. Horizontal and Vertical Shots
The ball head design allows for quick switching between horizontal and vertical camera orientations. Simply loosen the main locking knob, adjust the camera to the desired orientation, and re-tighten the knob.

5. Smartphone Compatibility
The FLY-1 tripod is compatible with smartphones using an optional phone mount (not included, needs to be purchased separately). The phone mount can be directly connected to the base of the ball head or mounted on the quick release plate.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and dirt. For stubborn grime, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Lubrication: The leg locks and ball head mechanism are designed for smooth operation. Do not apply lubricants unless specifically instructed by Fotopro support, as this may attract dirt and impair function.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all screws, knobs, and leg locks for tightness. Use the provided Allen keys to tighten any loose components.
