3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Flight

After successful pairing and GPS signal acquisition, place the drone on a flat, open surface. Use the one-key takeoff button for automatic ascent. Control the drone's movement using the joysticks on the remote control. For landing, use the one-key landing function or manually descend.

3.2 Advanced Flight Features

The HS440G includes several intelligent flight modes:

  • Follow Me: The drone will automatically follow the remote controller or the mobile device, capturing footage as you move.
  • Waypoint Flight: Plan a custom flight path by tapping desired points on the map within the app. The drone will fly along this predefined route.
  • Point of Interest: Select a central point, and the drone will circle around it at a specified radius and altitude, keeping the point in frame.
  • Auto Return (RTH): With GPS enabled, the drone can automatically return to its takeoff point in cases of low battery, signal loss, or manual activation.

3.4 Flight Environment and Safety

Always operate the drone in open, clear areas away from obstacles, people, and animals. Avoid flying in strong winds or adverse weather conditions. Due to its weight (under 250g), the HS440G does not require FAA registration, but local regulations should always be observed. Maintain visual line of sight with the drone during flight.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the drone's body, propellers, and camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on electronic components.

4.2 Propeller Replacement

Inspect propellers for any damage (cracks, bends, chips) before each flight. If damaged, replace them immediately using the provided extra propellers and screwdriver. Ensure propellers are installed correctly according to their markings (A or B).

4.3 Battery Care and Storage

To prolong battery life and ensure safety, store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not fully discharge batteries before storing them for extended periods. Avoid overcharging. If a battery appears swollen or damaged, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it properly.
