1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the KRPTQJoo IR Remote Control, model AA59-00784C. This remote is designed as a direct replacement for specific Samsung Smart LED UHD HDTV TV models. It operates using infrared (IR) technology and does not include voice search functionality.
Important Note: This remote control is a replacement unit and is not universal. It is specifically compatible with the listed Samsung TV models and does not require programming. Please ensure your TV model is listed below for proper functionality.

2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards to open the compartment.
- Insert two (2) AAA alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Initial Use
This remote control requires no programming. Once batteries are correctly installed, it is ready for immediate use with compatible Samsung TV models.
3. Operating Instructions
To operate your TV, point the remote control directly at the TV's infrared (IR) sensor. The maximum effective range is approximately 8 meters (26 feet).

3.1 Button Functions
- POWER (Red Button): Turns the TV on or off.
- SOURCE: Selects the input source (e.g., HDMI, AV).
- STB GUIDE / STB MENU / STB CONTROL: Buttons for controlling a connected Set-Top Box (if applicable).
- Number Buttons (0-9): Directly enter channel numbers.
- PRE-CH: Returns to the previous channel.
- VOL (+/-): Adjusts the volume level.
- MUTE: Mutes or unmutes the TV sound.
- CH (up/down): Changes channels.
- CH LIST: Displays the channel list.
- MENU: Opens the TV's main menu.
- SMARTHUB: Accesses the Smart Hub feature of your Samsung TV.
- GUIDE: Displays the electronic program guide.
- TOOLS: Accesses quick tools or options.
- INFO: Displays information about the current program or input.
- Directional Pad (Up/Down/Left/Right) & ENTER: Navigates menus and confirms selections.
- RETURN: Returns to the previous screen or menu.
- EXIT: Exits the current menu or application.
- Color Buttons (A, B, C, D): Functionality varies by application or TV menu.
- NE / STATUS / AM: Additional function buttons, specific use may vary by TV model or application.
- SEARCH / RECOMMEND: Accesses search or recommendation features.
- Playback Controls (Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward): Controls media playback.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
4.2 Battery Replacement
Replace the batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries.
4.3 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the remote control. Store the remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
5. Troubleshooting
- Remote is not responding:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed with the proper polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new AAA alkaline batteries.
- Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the TV's IR sensor.
- Ensure you are within the effective operating range (up to 8 meters) and pointing the remote directly at the TV.
- Certain buttons are not working:
- This may indicate low battery power. Try replacing the batteries.
- Some buttons' functionality may depend on the specific TV model or the current input/application.
- Remote does not control my TV:
- Verify that your TV model is listed in the compatibility section (Section 1). This remote is not universal.
- If your TV model is not explicitly listed, the remote may not be compatible.
