4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the two AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2. Power On/Off
Slide the power switch, located on the top right edge of the keyboard, to the 'ON' position to power on the keyboard. Slide it to 'OFF' when not in use to conserve battery life.

5.1. Connectivity Modes
The FBK11 keyboard supports two connectivity modes: Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless.
5.1.1. 2.4 GHz Wireless Connection
- Insert the 2.4 GHz USB Nano Receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
- Turn on the keyboard.
- The keyboard should automatically connect to the receiver. The 2.4G indicator light on the keyboard will illuminate briefly.
5.1.2. Bluetooth Connection
The keyboard can connect to up to three Bluetooth devices (BT1, BT2, BT3).
- Turn on the keyboard.
- Press and hold the Fn key and then press one of the Bluetooth keys (BT1, BT2, or BT3) for 3-5 seconds until the corresponding Bluetooth indicator light starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
- On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
- Select "A4TECH FBK11" or a similar name from the list of available devices.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid for a few seconds once connected.

5.2. Multi-Device Switching
To switch between connected devices:
- Press Fn + 2.4G to switch to the device connected via the 2.4 GHz USB receiver.
- Press Fn + BT1 to switch to the first Bluetooth-paired device.
- Press Fn + BT2 to switch to the second Bluetooth-paired device.
- Press Fn + BT3 to switch to the third Bluetooth-paired device.

5.3. Operating System Switching
The keyboard features dedicated keys to optimize its layout for different operating systems:
- Press Fn + Q for Android/iOS mode.
- Press Fn + W for Windows mode.
- Press Fn + E for macOS mode.
5.4. Multimedia Hotkeys and FN Lock Mode
The keyboard includes 12 multimedia and internet hotkeys (F1-F12) that can be accessed directly or by using the Fn key.

5.4.1. FN Lock Mode
By default, after pairing, the FN shortcut is locked in FN mode. This means you can use the multimedia functions (F1-F12) directly without pressing the Fn key.
- Lock Fn Mode: No need to press the Fn key for multimedia functions.
- Unlock Fn Mode: Press Fn + ESC to switch back to standard F1-F12 key functions, requiring the Fn key to access multimedia shortcuts.
The locking FN mode is memorized when switching devices and shutting down.
