Setup and How to Play

The IQ Waves game involves placing colorful puzzle pieces onto a game board to solve challenges. Follow these steps to set up and play:

1. Choose a Challenge: Select a challenge from the provided challenge booklet. Each challenge indicates the starting position of some puzzle pieces on the game board.
2. Place Initial Pieces: Place the puzzle pieces shown in the challenge into their indicated positions and orientations on the game board.
3. Fit Remaining Pieces: Place all the remaining puzzle pieces onto the game board. Pieces will only fit if the orientation of their segments matches the orientation of the grid (either vertical or horizontal). Rotating a puzzle piece 90 degrees changes the options for placement. Both the front and back sides of the puzzle pieces can be used.
4. Solve the Challenge: Continue placing pieces until all pieces are on the game board and fit perfectly. There is only one solution for each challenge.

A hint for easier manipulation: gently push on the thick side of a puzzle piece to pick it up or place it elsewhere.

• Pieces do not fit: Ensure that each part of a puzzle piece is oriented correctly (either vertically or horizontally) to match the grid. Try rotating the piece 90 degrees.
