4. Installation (Setup)
This car stereo is designed for plug-and-play installation in Honda Civic 2016-2020 models. However, specific wiring requirements depend on your vehicle's original head unit configuration.
4.1. Vehicle Compatibility Check
Before installation, identify your Honda Civic's center console version:
- Basic Version: No additional harness or CANbus required. Simply connect the provided power cable and corresponding wiring harness.
- Large Screen Version (with factory backup camera and SWC): Requires additional purchase of harness (B0CB14L5RV) and CANbus (B0CB16N1QZ) to retain factory features.

4.2. Wiring Instructions
Refer to the detailed wiring diagram below for connecting the main unit and accessories. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device.

4.3. CANbus and Protocol Settings (for Large Screen Versions)
If your vehicle has a large screen and requires a CANbus, ensure it is connected correctly. The CANbus has two interfaces (20-pin and 8-pin) that must be connected. After connecting, you will need to set the protocol box via the unit's settings:
- Go to Car settings.
- Select Factory settings (password: 8888 or 1234 or 000000).
- Choose Protocol settings and select "raise" followed by your car model.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your smartphone wirelessly or via USB to access navigation, music, calls, and more directly on the car stereo screen. This feature is managed through the Zlink APP on the unit.
- Wireless Connection: Connect your phone to the car stereo's Bluetooth hotspot or USB adapter (use original USB cable). Open the Zlink App to connect.
- Note: Samsung phones are not supported for wireless Android Auto. Android phones require the Android Auto app to be installed on the phone first. If connection is unsuccessful, manually connect to WiFi.

5.2. Bluetooth Hands-free & Music
The built-in Bluetooth allows for hands-free calling and wireless music streaming. Answer or make calls with a single button press and download phonebooks for convenience.

If a nine-grid black and white screen appears for the backup camera, adjust the settings:
- Go to Factory settings (password: 8888 or 1234 or 000000).
- Select Protocol parameter settings.
- Adjust Reverse video clarity/format.
