3. Setup and Installation

The MEIHUA Solar Spot Lights offer two primary installation methods: ground installation and wall installation.

3.1 Solar Panel Placement:

For optimal performance, the solar panel must be installed in an open and unobstructed area that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily. This ensures the battery charges sufficiently for night operation. Avoid shaded areas from trees, buildings, or other obstructions.

  2. Insert the assembled spotlights into the desired locations in the ground.
  3. Connect the spotlights to the control box, ensuring secure connections.
  4. Position the solar panel in a sunny location using its ground stake.

3.3 Wall Installation:

  1. Using the provided mounting hardware (nails and screws), secure the spotlights to a wall or fence at your desired height and angle.
  2. Connect the spotlights to the control box.
  3. Mount the solar panel in a location that receives ample direct sunlight, using appropriate mounting hardware.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your MEIHUA Solar Spot Lights.

  • Solar Panel Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
  • Spotlight Cleaning: Clean the spotlight lenses and housing as needed to maintain light output and appearance.
  • Battery Care: While the battery is designed for outdoor use, extreme temperatures can affect its performance. Ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight to keep the battery charged.
  • Seasonal Adjustments: In winter or periods of reduced sunlight, the lights may operate for shorter durations. Ensure the solar panel remains clear of snow and debris.
