Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
No outdoor temperature/humidity reading.
  • Ensure the outdoor sensor is within range (330ft/100m) and has fresh batteries (if applicable).
  • Re-synchronize the sensor with the main unit (refer to manual for specific steps).
  • Check for strong interference sources (e.g., large metal objects, other wireless devices).
Time is incorrect.
  • Ensure the unit is receiving the WWVB atomic clock signal. Place it near a window if possible.
  • Allow time for synchronization (can take several hours, especially after initial setup or power loss).
  • Manually set the time if atomic clock signal is consistently unavailable.
Display is dim or blank.
  • Check battery level and charge the unit using the power adapter.
  • Adjust brightness settings. The display might be set to a low brightness level or OFF during certain hours.
Inaccurate weather forecast.
  • Weather forecasts are based on barometric pressure trends and are predictions, not guarantees.
  • Ensure the unit has been operating continuously for at least 24 hours to establish a baseline.
