Setup

1. Speaker Placement

Place the speakers on a stable, flat surface, ideally at ear level when seated. For optimal stereo imaging, position the speakers equidistant from your listening position and spaced appropriately apart. Ensure there is enough space behind the speakers for cable connections and ventilation.

2. Connecting the Speakers

Connect the passive speaker to the active (main) speaker using the provided R/L connection cable. The active speaker typically has all the input ports and controls.

3. Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the 'DC IN' port on the active speaker, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The power indicator will light up.

Connectivity Options

The VULKKANO D4 speakers offer multiple connectivity options to suit various devices.

Bluetooth Connection

1. Turn on the speakers.
2. Press the 'BT' button on the remote control or the input selection button on the speaker to select Bluetooth mode. The indicator light will flash.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for 'VULKKANO D4'.
4. Select 'VULKKANO D4' to pair. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

RCA Connection

Use an RCA cable (not included) to connect your audio source (e.g., TV, DVD player) to the 'RCA' input ports on the active speaker. Select 'RCA' input using the remote or speaker controls.

AUX Connection

Connect your audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the 'AUX' input port on the active speaker using the provided 3.5mm AUX cable. Select 'AUX' input using the remote or speaker controls.

USB A Connection

Connect a USB device (e.g., computer) to the 'USB A' port on the active speaker using the provided USB A to USB A cable. Select 'USB' input using the remote or speaker controls.

Optical Connection

Use an optical cable (not included) to connect your audio source (e.g., TV, game console) to the 'OPT' (Optical) input port on the active speaker. Select 'OPT' input using the remote or speaker controls.

Subwoofer Output

The 'SUB OUT' port allows you to connect an external powered subwoofer (not included) for enhanced bass performance. Use an RCA cable to connect the subwoofer to this output.

Operating Instructions

Front Panel Controls

• Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust the overall volume level.
• TREB Knob: Rotate to adjust the treble (high frequency) level.
• BASS Knob: Rotate to adjust the bass (low frequency) level.
• Input/Mode Button: Press to cycle through available input sources (Bluetooth, RCA, AUX, USB, Optical).
