Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Dust Filter

To prevent overheating and maintain optimal performance, clean the dust filter every 15 days. Refer to the safety information for details on potential damage from dust accumulation.

2. General Care

  • Keep the projector in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid exposing the projector to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the projector. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Protect the lens from scratches by using the lens cap when not in use.

Troubleshooting

  • No Image / Audio from Streaming Apps (Netflix, Prime Video): Due to HDCP copyright protection, content from these apps cannot be mirrored wirelessly. Connect a Fire Stick, computer, or laptop via HDMI to play such content. If there is audio but no image, it indicates copyright-protected content.
  • No Audio when Playing Copyrighted Videos: If you experience no sound while playing copyrighted videos (e.g., Netflix), disable Dolby audio in the projector's sound settings.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the projector's Bluetooth is enabled and the external device is in pairing mode. Try restarting both devices.
  • HDMI ARC Not Working: Verify that your external audio device supports HDMI ARC and that the correct HDMI port is selected on both the projector and the audio device.
  • Poor Image Quality / Low Brightness: Ensure the projection surface is suitable. Adjust focus and keystone correction. For optimal brightness, use the projector in a dark room.
