Setup

1. Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the alarm host.
  2. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The system will power on automatically.
  3. The internal backup battery will charge automatically once connected to power.

2. SIM Card Installation (Optional)

If you intend to use GSM/4G features for calls and SMS alerts, install a compatible SIM card:

  1. Locate the SIM card slot on the side or back of the alarm host.
  2. Insert a 2G/3G/4G compatible SIM card into the slot, ensuring correct orientation.
  3. The system will detect the SIM card and display network status on the screen.

3. Wi-Fi Connection

The system operates on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only (5G networks are not supported).

  1. Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app from your mobile device's app store.
  2. Register or log in to your account in the app.
  3. On the alarm host, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings menu.
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device and connect the alarm host to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

4. Pairing Accessories

The system supports up to 100 wireless accessories (433MHz frequency).

  1. On the alarm host, enter the "Accessories" or "Sensor Management" menu.
  2. Select "Add Sensor" or "Learn Accessory".
  3. Trigger the accessory (e.g., open the door sensor, press the button on the remote, trigger the motion detector). The host will beep to confirm successful pairing.
  4. Assign a name to each sensor (e.g., "Main Door," "Living Room Motion") for easier identification in the app and alarm notifications.

Operating Instructions

1. Arming and Disarming

  • Arm: Press the "Arm" button on the alarm host, remote control, or use the "Arm" function in the mobile app. The system will activate all configured sensors.
  • Disarm: Press the "Disarm" button on the alarm host (enter PIN if required), remote control, or use the "Disarm" function in the mobile app. The system will deactivate all sensors.
  • Home Arm: Activates perimeter sensors (e.g., door/window sensors) while allowing free movement within the property.

2. APP Control

The "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app allows full control and monitoring of your alarm system from anywhere.

  • Remote Arm/Disarm: Control the system's status.
  • Notifications: Receive instant push alerts for alarms, low battery, or system status changes.
  • Settings: Adjust alarm modes, sensor names, siren volume, and other parameters.
  • Event Log: View a history of all system events.

3. Voice Control (Alexa & Google Assistant)

Integrate your alarm system with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for convenient voice commands.

  1. Enable the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" skill in your Alexa or Google Home app.
  2. Link your Smart Life/Tuya account.
  3. Use commands such as:
    • "Alexa, arm my home."
    • "Hey Google, disarm the alarm."

4. Intercom Function

The alarm host supports two-way audio communication.

  • Initiate an intercom call from the mobile app to the alarm host.
  • Speak through your phone, and the audio will be transmitted through the alarm host's speaker.
  • Audio from the alarm host's microphone will be transmitted back to your phone.

5. Scheduled Arm/Disarm

Set up schedules for automatic arming and disarming to suit your daily routine.

Maintenance

1. Battery Management

  • Alarm Host Backup Battery: The main panel includes a rechargeable Lithium Ion backup battery. It charges automatically when connected to power. In case of a power outage, the system will continue to operate for a limited time.
  • Accessory Batteries: Wireless sensors (motion detectors, door sensors, remote controls) are powered by disposable batteries. The system will notify you via the app and on the host panel when an accessory's battery is low. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous protection.
