4. Setup and Assembly

The FocusOnHome Adjustable Base is designed for easy installation, typically taking approximately 10 minutes. Follow these steps for a hassle-free setup.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the folded bed base on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Unfold the Base: Gently unfold the bed base. Ensure all sections are fully extended and locked into place.
  3. Attach Legs: Screw the legs into the designated threaded holes on the underside of the frame. Hand-tighten initially, then use a wrench if provided to secure them firmly.
  4. Install Retainer Bar: Attach the mattress retainer bar at the foot of the bed using the provided screws from the accessory pack. This prevents the mattress from sliding during adjustments.

5. Operating Instructions

Your FocusOnHome Adjustable Base comes with a wireless remote control for effortless adjustment of positions.

5.1 Wireless Remote Control

The wireless remote allows you to control various functions of the bed base. Ensure the remote has working batteries and is paired with the base (refer to pairing instructions if needed, usually automatic).

  • Head Up/Down: Adjusts the head section of the bed. The head can be adjusted from 0 to 61 degrees.
  • Foot Up/Down: Adjusts the foot section of the bed. The foot can be adjusted from 0 to 37 degrees.
  • Flat: Returns the bed to a completely flat position.
  • Zero Gravity: Elevates both the head and foot to a position that mimics weightlessness, reducing pressure on the body.
  • Anti-Snore: Slightly raises the head to open airways and reduce snoring.
  • TV/Reading Mode: Adjusts the head and foot to an optimal position for watching TV or reading.
  • Flashlight: The remote control can also be used as an LED flashlight.
