4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your IMILAB EC4 Wireless Outdoor Camera System:
- Download the IMILAB Home App: Scan the QR code provided in your physical manual or search for "IMILAB Home" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Register/Log In: Open the app and follow the prompts to create a new account or log in with an existing one.
- Power On the Smart Hub: Connect the Smart Hub to power using the provided power adapter. Connect the Smart Hub to your router using the Ethernet cable. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the hub.
- Add Smart Hub to App: In the IMILAB Home app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "IMILAB Smart Hub" from the list. Follow the on-screen instructions to bind the hub. The LED indicator on the hub will change from flashing orange to solid blue once successfully connected.
- Charge the Camera: Before first use, fully charge the EC4 camera using the provided charging cable. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.
- Mount the Camera: Choose a suitable location for your camera. The mounting bracket can be attached using screws or the strong adhesive tape. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.
- Add Camera to App: In the IMILAB Home app, tap the "+" icon again. Scan the QR code located on the bottom of the EC4 camera. Follow the prompts to connect the camera to the Smart Hub. Press and hold the sync button on the camera for 2 seconds until you see a flashing blue light and hear a power-on sound.
- Finalize Setup: Once the camera is successfully bound, you can customize settings such as motion detection zones, alert preferences, and storage options within the app.

Utilize the IMILAB Home app to control and monitor your EC4 camera system:
Live View:
Open the IMILAB Home app and select your EC4 camera to view live footage. You can pan, tilt, and zoom digitally within the app to get a better view.
Two-Way Audio:
Tap the microphone icon in the live view interface to speak through the camera. Tap the speaker icon to hear audio from the camera's surroundings.
Motion Detection & Alerts:
Configure motion detection sensitivity and set up specific activity zones within the app. When motion is detected in these zones, you will receive instant push notifications on your smartphone.
Deterrence Features:
Manually activate the built-in siren and spotlight from the app to deter intruders. You can also set these to activate automatically upon detection of a person.
Reviewing Footage:
Access recorded events from the app's timeline. Footage is stored either on the MicroSD card in the hub or in the cloud, depending on your chosen storage method.
