Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the sous vide machine and all packaging materials.
- Attach to Container: Securely attach the sous vide machine to the side of a heat-safe pot or container using the integrated clamp. Ensure the device is stable and upright.
- Fill with Water: Fill the container with water. The water level must be between the minimum and maximum fill lines indicated on the stainless steel sleeve of the device.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The device will typically beep and the display will illuminate.

Operating Instructions
Manual Control:
Operate the device directly using the touch controls on the LED display.
- Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to activate the device.
- Set Temperature: Use the + and - buttons to adjust the desired cooking temperature.
- Set Timer: Press the Timer button, then use the + and - buttons to set the cooking duration in hours and minutes.
- Start Cooking: Press the ON/OFF button again to begin the heating and circulation process. The display will show the current water temperature.

App Control (WIFI):
Control and monitor your sous vide machine remotely using the dedicated mobile application.
- Download App: Download the Karinear app from your smartphone's app store.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your sous vide machine is plugged in and powered on. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: The device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
- Set Parameters: Once connected, use the app interface to set the desired cooking temperature and time.
- Monitor & Adjust: The app allows you to monitor the cooking progress, current temperature, and remaining time. You can also adjust settings remotely.

General Cooking Process:
- Prepare Food: Place your food item (e.g., meat, vegetables) into a vacuum-sealable bag. Remove as much air as possible from the bag and seal it completely.
- Preheat Water: Start the sous vide machine and allow the water to reach the set temperature.
- Immerse Food: Carefully place the sealed food bag into the preheated water bath. Ensure the bag is fully submerged. You may need to use clips or weights to keep it submerged.
- Cook: Allow the food to cook for the specified duration. The machine will maintain the precise temperature throughout the cooking time.
- Finish (Optional): After cooking, carefully remove the food bag. For items like meat, you may wish to briefly sear them in a hot pan or on a grill to develop a flavorful crust.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular Cleaning:
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the device from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the sous vide machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the top part of the unit in water.
- Clean Stainless Steel Sleeve: The stainless steel sleeve can be carefully removed (if applicable to your model) and rinsed under running water. Gently clean any food residue from the heating coil and pump cover using a soft brush or sponge.
- Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the device.
Descaling:
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may accumulate on the heating element, especially in areas with hard water. This can affect performance. Descale your unit regularly.
- Prepare Descaling Solution: Fill a pot with water and add white vinegar (e.g., 1 cup of white vinegar for every gallon of water).
- Run Descaling Cycle: Attach the sous vide machine to the pot. Set the temperature to approximately 60°C (140°F) and run the device for 30 minutes.
- Rinse: After the descaling cycle, unplug the device, allow it to cool, and rinse the stainless steel sleeve and heating element thoroughly with clean water to remove any vinegar residue.
Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a functional electrical outlet.
- Ensure the ON/OFF button has been pressed.
- Water not heating or temperature inaccurate:
- Verify that the water level is between the minimum and maximum fill lines.
- Check for mineral buildup on the heating element; descale the unit if necessary.
- If the device consistently overheats or displays incorrect temperatures, contact customer support.
- Wi-Fi connection issues:
- Confirm that your Wi-Fi router is operating on a 2.4GHz frequency. The device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.

- Follow the app's instructions to re-pair the device with your network.
- Low water level alert:
- Add water to the container until it is between the minimum and maximum fill lines. The device will automatically resume operation.
