3. Setup Guide
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all included items are present:
- 1 x Electronic Drum Pad (DED-20 SE)
- 1 x Power Adapter
- 1 x USB Data Cable
- 1 x 3.5mm Audio Cable
- 1 x Pair of Drum Sticks
- 2 x Drum Pedals (for Kick and Hi-Hat)
Inspect all components for any signs of damage. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact customer service immediately.
3.2 Connecting the Drum Pad
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC 5V input port on the main control unit of the drum pad. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The drum pad also supports mobile power charging for portability.
- Foot Pedals: Connect the two drum pedals to their respective input jacks on the main control unit. One pedal is for the Kick drum, and the other is for the Hi-Hat.
- Headphones (Optional): For private practice, plug your 3.5mm headphones into the "HEAD PHONE" jack.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
Press the "POWER" button on the main control unit to turn the drum pad on or off.
4.2 Playing the Drum Pad
Use the included drum sticks to strike the various pads. The DED-20 SE features 9 distinct pads:
- • 1 SNARE drum pad
- • 1 KICK drum pad (can also be triggered by foot pedal)
- • 2 CRASH cymbal pads
- • 1 RIDE cymbal pad
- • 1 HI-HAT cymbal pad (can also be triggered by foot pedal)
- • 3 TOMS drum pads
Note: The strike force of the DED-20 SE is single and does not change as the physical strike force increases.

4.3 Control Panel Functions
The main control unit features several buttons for adjusting settings and accessing features:
- VOL +/-: Adjusts the overall volume of the drum pad. There are 9 adjustable levels.
- STYLE: Cycles through different drum styles/kits.
- DEMO: Plays one of the 9 built-in demonstration songs.
- START/STOP: Starts or stops playback of demo songs or accompaniments.
- REC: Initiates recording. The drum pad supports up to 180 seconds of recording.
- PLAY: Plays back your recorded performance.
- T +/-: Adjusts the tempo of demo songs or accompaniments.
