4. Assembly and Setup
Follow these steps to correctly assemble your food processor before use.
- Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface.
- Fit the main processing bowl onto the motor base, aligning the bowl handle with the locking mechanism on the base. Turn clockwise until it locks into place.
- Insert the desired accessory (e.g., chopping blade, slicing disc) onto the central shaft inside the bowl.
- Place the lid onto the bowl, ensuring the lid's locking tab aligns with the handle of the bowl. Turn clockwise until it clicks securely. The appliance will not operate if the bowl and lid are not correctly locked.
- For the blender, ensure the blade unit is securely attached to the blender jug, then place the jug onto the motor base and twist to lock.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Speed Settings
The appliance features a control dial with two continuous speed settings (1 and 2) and a 'Pulse' function.
- Speed 1: Ideal for lighter tasks, softer ingredients, and gentle mixing.
- Speed 2: Suitable for harder ingredients, heavier loads, and faster processing.
- Pulse (P): Provides short bursts of maximum power, useful for controlled chopping, blending, or when you need quick, intermittent processing. Hold the dial in the 'P' position for as long as needed, then release.

5.2 Using the Chopping Blade
Insert the chopping blade onto the central shaft. Add ingredients to the bowl. Secure the lid. Select speed 1 or 2, or use the Pulse function for controlled chopping of herbs, nuts, or vegetables.
5.3 Using the Slicing and Grating Discs
Place the desired disc (slicing, grating, or parmesan) onto the central shaft. Secure the lid. Turn on the appliance to speed 2. Feed ingredients through the feeder tube using the pusher. Do not force ingredients.
5.4 Using the Kneading Tool
Attach the kneading tool to the central shaft. Add flour and other ingredients for dough. Secure the lid. Use speed 1 or 2 for kneading. Do not overload the bowl.
5.5 Using the Emulsifying Disc

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
