1. Introduction

2. Setup
2.1 Package Contents
Please ensure all items are present in the package:
- RisoPhy PC400 Wireless Gaming Mouse
- USB 2.4G Receiver
- User Manual (this document)
- (Note: AA battery not included)
2.2 Battery Installation
The RisoPhy PC400 mouse requires one AA battery for operation. Follow these steps to install the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
- Gently slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one AA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

2.3 Connectivity
The RisoPhy PC400 offers two connection modes: 2.4G Wireless and Bluetooth.

2.3.1 2.4G Wireless Mode
This mode provides a stable and fast connection, ideal for gaming.
- Take out the USB 2.4G receiver from the battery compartment of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the switch on the bottom. Ensure the switch is set to the "2.4G" position.
- The mouse should automatically connect to your computer. No additional drivers are typically required.
2.3.2 Bluetooth Mode
Bluetooth mode offers excellent compatibility with laptops, tablets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
- Turn on the mouse using the switch on the bottom. Ensure the switch is set to the "BT" position.
- On your device (computer, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings.
- Search for new devices. The mouse should appear as "RisoPhy PC400" or similar.
- Select the mouse to pair. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
3. Operation
3.1 Button Functions
The RisoPhy PC400 mouse features 7 buttons, including programmable ones, to enhance your control and efficiency.

- Left Button: Standard left-click function.
- Right Button: Standard right-click function.
- Scroll Wheel (Middle Button): Scroll up/down, click for middle-button function.
- Forward Button: Navigates forward in web browsers or file explorers.
- Backward Button: Navigates backward in web browsers or file explorers.
- DPI Button: Cycles through DPI settings.
- Bluetooth Button: Used for Bluetooth pairing and mode switching.
3.2 DPI Adjustment
The mouse features 5 adjustable DPI levels (800-1200-2400-3500-8000) to suit different tasks and preferences, from precise work to fast-paced gaming.
- Press the DPI button located on the top of the mouse, behind the scroll wheel.
- Each press will cycle through the available DPI settings. The mouse's response speed will change accordingly.

3.3 RGB Backlighting
The mouse features red backlighting to enhance the gaming atmosphere.
- To switch the backlighting on or off, press the Forward button and the scroll wheel simultaneously.
3.4 Intelligent Power Management
The RisoPhy PC400 is designed with intelligent power-saving features to extend battery life.
- The mouse will automatically enter a sleep mode after 20 seconds of no operation to conserve power.
- To wake the mouse, simply click any button.
- With the backlight off, the mouse can be used continuously for up to 250 hours.
- With the backlight on, it can be used continuously for up to 180 hours.

3.5 Programmable Buttons and Software
The 7 programmable buttons allow for customization to quickly execute frequently used commands and improve operational efficiency. Dedicated software is available for this purpose.

- The software allows you to assign macros, re-map buttons, adjust mouse sensitivity, scrolling speed, double-click speed, and polling rate.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your RisoPhy PC400 mouse, regular cleaning is recommended.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse periodically with a cotton swab to prevent tracking issues.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the mouse's finish.

4.2 Battery Replacement
When the mouse's performance degrades or it stops responding, it may be time to replace the AA battery. Refer to section 2.2 for battery installation instructions.
