1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SIXWIN 9-inch Touch Screen Car MP5 Player. This unit is specifically designed for Honda CRV models manufactured between 2002 and 2006. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper functionality and safety.

3. Setup and Installation

The SIXWIN car stereo is designed for plug-and-play installation in Honda CRV models from 2002 to 2006. While installation is generally straightforward, professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with car audio systems.

3.1 Pre-Installation Check

• Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected before starting.
• Verify all package contents are present.

3.2 Installation Steps

1. Carefully remove the original car stereo unit from your Honda CRV dashboard. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific removal instructions.
2. Connect the provided power cable, RCA input/output, and camera input cables to the corresponding ports on the new SIXWIN car stereo.
3. Connect the vehicle-specific wiring harness to the car's existing wiring.
4. Mount the new car stereo unit into the dashboard using the provided brackets and screws. Ensure a secure fit.
5. Connect the external microphone to the designated port on the stereo unit and route it to a suitable location for optimal voice pickup.
6. Install the backup camera at the rear of the vehicle and connect its video and power cables to the camera input cable and the vehicle's reversing light power source, respectively.
7. Reconnect the vehicle's battery and test the unit's functionality.

4. Operating Instructions

The SIXWIN car stereo features a 9-inch 2.5D capacitive touchscreen for intuitive control of its various functions.

4.1 CarPlay and Android Auto

Connect your smartphone via a USB data cable to access CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to use your phone's navigation, music, calls, messages, and other compatible apps directly on the car stereo screen. Note: Wired connections are required. Samsung phones are not supported for this feature.

4.2 Bluetooth Connectivity

The built-in Bluetooth module enables hands-free calling, phonebook synchronization, and wireless music streaming. Pair your phone with the stereo to make and receive calls safely while driving. The external microphone ensures clear audio transmission during calls.

4.3 FM Radio

Access FM radio stations with a frequency range of 87.5-108.0 MHz. The unit supports 3 bands (FM1, FM2, FM3) and allows for 18 preset stations. Use the on-screen controls to scan, tune, and save your favorite stations.

4.4 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

The unit supports steering wheel control functions. After installation, navigate to the settings menu to learn and configure your vehicle's steering wheel buttons. This allows you to control volume, switch songs, and answer calls without taking your hands off the wheel.

4.5 EQ Function and Subwoofer Output

Customize your audio experience using the built-in Equalizer (EQ) function. Choose from various preset music styles (e.g., Rock, Jazz, Classical) or adjust individual frequency bands. The unit also features a subwoofer output for enhanced bass performance.

4.6 Mirror Link

The mirror link feature allows you to display your smartphone's screen on the car stereo via a USB data cable. You can then operate your mobile phone directly from the stereo's touchscreen. Note: This feature does not support Samsung phones.

4.7 GPS Navigation and Wi-Fi

The unit supports GPS navigation, allowing you to use mapping applications for guidance. Connect to a Wi-Fi network to access online features, download apps, and update maps.

4.8 Backup Camera

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the car stereo automatically displays the feed from the connected backup camera, providing a clear view of the area behind your vehicle to assist with parking and maneuvering.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SIXWIN car stereo, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the touchscreen and unit exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

• Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.

• No Power: Check all power connections and ensure the vehicle's battery is properly connected and charged. Verify the fuse for the stereo is intact.
