Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your HYPER GO R30 RC Receiver. The R30 receiver is designed as a spare part and accessory for HYPER GO RC car models including H16BM, H16DR, H14BM, and H16PL. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Safety Information
WARNING: Not for children under 3 years old due to small parts which may present a choking hazard.
- Always ensure the receiver is correctly connected to the electronic speed controller (ESC) and steering servo before powering on.
- Avoid exposing the receiver to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to modify the receiver. Unauthorized modifications can lead to malfunction and void the warranty.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the receiver during operation to prevent overheating.
Product Overview
The HYPER GO R30 receiver is a crucial component for your RC vehicle's control system. It receives signals from your transmitter and translates them into commands for the vehicle's steering and throttle.

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install and set up your R30 receiver in your compatible HYPER GO RC vehicle.
- Mounting the Receiver: Securely mount the R30 receiver in a location within your RC vehicle that is protected from impacts, moisture, and excessive vibration. Use double-sided foam tape or a receiver box if available. Ensure the antenna is routed away from metal parts and other electronics for optimal signal reception.
- Connecting Components:
- Connect the steering servo to the CH1 port.
- Connect the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) to the CH2 port. The ESC typically provides power to the receiver.
- If your model utilizes additional functions, connect them to CH3 or other available ports as indicated by your vehicle's specific wiring diagram.
- Connect any optional GPS or BVD (Battery Voltage Detection) modules to their respective ports if your setup supports them.
- Binding the Receiver: The R30 receiver must be bound to your HYPER GO transmitter (e.g., for H16BM, H16DR, H14BM, H16PL models) to establish a secure communication link.
- Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered off.
- Insert the bind plug (if supplied with your transmitter/receiver) into the BIND port on the receiver.
- Power on the receiver (e.g., by connecting the vehicle's battery to the ESC). The receiver's LED should flash rapidly, indicating it is in binding mode.
- While holding the BIND button on your transmitter (refer to your transmitter's manual for exact location), power on the transmitter.
- The receiver's LED should turn solid, indicating a successful bind.
- Power off both the receiver and transmitter. Remove the bind plug from the receiver.
- Power on the transmitter first, then the receiver. Test the controls to confirm the bind is successful.
Operating Instructions
Once the receiver is installed and bound, you can operate your RC vehicle. The R30 receiver facilitates precise control based on your transmitter inputs.
Using ST / TH Trim Functions:
The ST (Steering) and TH (Throttle) Trim functions allow for fine adjustments to the neutral position of your steering and throttle channels without affecting the maximum travel. These are typically adjusted on your transmitter.
- Steering Trim (ST Trim): If your vehicle pulls to one side when the steering wheel on the transmitter is centered, use the ST Trim dial or buttons on your transmitter to adjust the steering servo's neutral position until the vehicle tracks straight.
- Throttle Trim (TH Trim): If your vehicle creeps forward or backward when the throttle trigger on the transmitter is at neutral, use the TH Trim dial or buttons to adjust the throttle servo's neutral position until the vehicle remains stationary.
Always perform these trim adjustments on a flat surface and ensure the vehicle is safely supported or on the ground.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your R30 receiver.
- Cleaning: Periodically inspect the receiver for dirt, dust, or debris. Use a soft, dry brush or compressed air to gently clean the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Moisture Protection: While the receiver is designed for RC use, avoid direct exposure to water or excessive humidity. If it gets wet, power it off immediately and allow it to dry completely before re-using.
- Storage: When not in use, store the receiver in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly check all connected wires and connectors for signs of wear, fraying, or corrosion. Replace damaged cables immediately.
