Control Panel (Refer to the rear panel image):
- Micro SD Slot: For playing music from a Micro SD card.
- DC 5V Port: For charging the speaker.
- USB Port: For playing music from a USB drive.
- AUX Input: For connecting external audio devices via a 3.5mm audio cable.
- Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to switch modes.
- Previous Track / Volume Down (⏮ / V-): Short press for previous track, long press to decrease volume.
- Play/Pause / TWS (⏸): Short press to play/pause. Long press to activate TWS pairing.
- Next Track / Volume Up (⏭ / V+): Short press for next track, long press to increase volume.
- Mode Button (M): Short press to cycle through Bluetooth, FM Radio, Micro SD, USB, and AUX modes.
Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
- Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charging takes approximately 4.5 hours for a full charge.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off (refer to specific LED behavior if available on device).
Note: Ensure the speaker is fully charged before first use to maximize battery life.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power button (⏻) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt.
- To power off, press and hold the Power button (⏻) again for a few seconds.
2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light and an audible prompt.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "DW1191BL" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your device through the Soundbox 60.
Note: The effective Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet) without obstacles.
3. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function
The TWS function allows you to connect two DW1191BL Soundbox speakers for a stereo audio experience.
- Ensure both DW1191BL speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Play/Pause button (⏸) until you hear a TWS pairing prompt.
- The two speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.
- Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.
Note: TWS function only works with two identical DW1191BL models.
4. FM Radio Mode
- Power on the speaker.
- Press the Mode button (M) repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode. You will hear an audible prompt.
- To auto-scan and save available stations, press and hold the Play/Pause button (⏸). The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
- Use the Previous Track (⏮) and Next Track (⏭) buttons to navigate between saved stations.
Tip: For better FM reception, ensure the speaker is in an open area.
5. Micro SD / USB Playback
- Insert a Micro SD card or USB drive (with supported audio files) into the corresponding slot on the speaker.
- The speaker will automatically switch to Micro SD or USB mode and begin playing audio. If not, press the Mode button (M) to select the correct mode.
- Use the Play/Pause (⏸), Previous Track (⏮), and Next Track (⏭) buttons to control playback.
6. AUX Input Mode
- Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
- Press the Mode button (M) repeatedly until you enter AUX mode.
- Control playback directly from your external audio device. Volume can be adjusted on both the speaker and the external device.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use.
Troubleshooting
