3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Locate the charging port on the speaker, usually protected by a rubber flap.
  2. Open the rubber flap and connect the provided charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  3. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate, typically red, to show that the speaker is charging.
  5. Once fully charged (approximately 3-4 hours), the indicator light will change color (e.g., turn off or turn blue/green).
  6. Disconnect the charging cable and securely close the rubber flap to maintain the speaker's waterproof rating.

3.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Power button on the speaker until you hear an audible prompt or see the LED indicator flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Activate Bluetooth: On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.

3.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing (Optional)

To achieve a stereo sound experience, you can pair two KAIDI KD-829 speakers together.

  1. Ensure both KD-829 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
