Setup
1. Battery Installation
Proper battery installation is crucial for the functionality of your wireless doorbell kit.
Doorbell Chime Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the doorbell chime.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2x AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Doorbell Push Button Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the doorbell push button.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the included 1x CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

2. Test Range and Functionality
Before permanent installation, test the operational range of the doorbell kit.
- Place the doorbell chime in your desired location.
- Take the doorbell push button to the intended mounting spot.
- Press the doorbell push button. The chime should sound.
- If the chime does not sound, try moving the chime or button to a different location to ensure it is within the 300 ft transmission range and free from interference.

Installation
1. Mounting the Doorbell Push Button
The doorbell push button can be mounted using either screws or double-sided tape.
Option A: Screw Mounting
- Remove the doorbell button's backing plate by pushing in the tab at the bottom with a small screwdriver.
- Secure the backing plate to your desired wall location using screws.
- Snap the front of the doorbell button onto the secured backing plate.
Option B: Tape Mounting
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry.
- Apply the provided double-sided tape to the back of the doorbell push button.
- Press the doorbell button firmly onto the desired location for at least 30 seconds.
2. Mounting the Doorbell Chime
The doorbell chime can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface.
Wall Mounting
- Choose a suitable location for the chime, ensuring it is within range of the push button.
- Drill a pilot hole and insert a wall anchor if necessary.
- Insert a screw into the wall anchor (or directly into the wall if suitable) and hang the doorbell chime using the keyhole slot on its back.
Placement on Flat Surface
Simply place the doorbell chime on any flat, stable surface within the operational range of the push button.

Operation
1. Selecting Melodies
Your doorbell chime offers 10 distinct melodies. To change the melody:
- Locate the melody selection button on the doorbell chime. This is typically a small button on the side or back.
- Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies. The chime will play each melody as you select it.
- Stop pressing when you hear your desired melody. The chime will retain this selection until changed again.
Available melodies include: Auld Lang Syne, Beethoven's Fifth, Birthday Celebration, Ding-Dong, Relax Triplet, Shorty, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Short Westminster, Westminster, and Huntington.
2. Adjusting Volume
The volume of the doorbell chime can be adjusted to suit your environment.
- Locate the volume control button(s) on the doorbell chime. These may be separate '+' and '-' buttons or a single button that cycles through volume levels.
- Press the volume button(s) to increase or decrease the sound level.
- The chime typically offers multiple volume settings, up to 85dB.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
When the doorbell chime or push button stops functioning or the range decreases, it may be time to replace the batteries.
