Assembly Instructions

Please read all steps before beginning. It is recommended to have two people for assembly. Lay out all components on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.

Tools Required (Not Included):

• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Hammer (for dowels)

Step-by-Step Assembly:

1. Prepare the Main Frame:

   Attach the side panels to the bottom panel using the provided dowels and cam locks/screws. Ensure the pre-drilled holes for drawer runners are facing inwards. Secure the top panel in a similar manner.
2. Install Cabinet Drawer Runners:

   Attach the cabinet portion of the drawer runners to the inner sides of the main frame. Ensure they are level and aligned according to the pre-drilled holes. The smooth anti-rust runners are designed for easy operation.

3. Assemble Drawers (Repeat for all 6 drawers):

   Connect the drawer side panels to the drawer front and back panels using dowels and screws. Slide the drawer bottom panel into the grooves. Attach the drawer portion of the runners to the outer sides of the assembled drawer box. Finally, attach the handles/knobs to the drawer fronts.

4. Insert Drawers:

   Carefully align the drawer runners with the cabinet runners and slide each assembled drawer into its designated slot. Test each drawer for smooth operation.

5. Attach Back Panel:

   Secure the back panel to the rear of the main frame using small nails or screws. Ensure it is flush and square.
6. Install Anti-Tip Kit:

   This step is critical for safety. Attach the anti-tip bracket to the top rear of the chest of drawers and secure the strap to a wall stud using appropriate hardware. Follow the instructions provided with the anti-tip kit carefully.

Operating Instructions

The Artiss 6-Drawer Chest of Drawers is designed for storing clothing, linens, and other household items. To ensure longevity and safety:

• Open and close drawers gently. Avoid slamming them shut.
• Distribute weight evenly within drawers. Do not overload drawers beyond the 10 kg capacity.
• Do not place items heavier than 50 kg on the top surface.
• Always close drawers completely when not in use.
• As a safety measure, avoid opening more than one drawer at a time, especially the top drawers, to prevent tipping.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care will help maintain the appearance and functionality of your chest of drawers.

• Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.
• Spills: Clean spills immediately with a dry cloth to prevent staining or water damage.
• Hardware: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary.
• Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading or discoloration.
