4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the SISESOL Metal Storage Cabinet is designed to be straightforward with clear, numbered instructions. While it can be assembled by one person, having two people for the initial steps will significantly ease the process.
4.1 Preparation
- Choose a clean, flat, and spacious area for assembly. A large table (over 6 feet long and 3 feet wide) is ideal.
- Unpack all components and lay them out. Verify against the parts list in your included manual.
- Separate and organize all hardware. Using a divider plate or small containers for different screw types can streamline the process.
- Consider using a headlamp to better see small pre-drilled holes during assembly.
4.2 Assembly Steps
Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the physical manual included with your cabinet. Pay close attention to the diagrams and ensure correct orientation of all panels.
- Important: Do not lean your full weight on any part of the product during assembly, especially on flat panels, as this can cause dents.
- The first 3-4 steps are best accomplished with two people to hold parts vertically while securing them.
- The doors are designed for simple installation. Ensure the clear O-rings are properly placed for cushioning and leveling.
4.3 Wall Attachment
Pre-drilled holes are located on the back of the cabinet for wall mounting. Use the provided wall attachment device to secure the cabinet to a sturdy wall. This is a critical safety step to prevent tip-over, especially in households with children or in areas prone to seismic activity.

- To open, gently pull the door handles. To close, push the doors until they meet the cabinet frame.
5.4 Leveling the Cabinet
The cabinet includes adjustable feet-screws located underneath. These can be adjusted from inside the cabinet through hidden holes on the bottom shelf, allowing you to level the cabinet without needing to lay it down.
- Once the cabinet is in its final position, open the doors.
- Locate the adjustment holes on the bottom shelf.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver to turn the feet-screws, raising or lowering each corner until the cabinet is stable and level.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your SISESOL Metal Storage Cabinet, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild cleaning solution. Fingerprints and light dirt can be easily removed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the powder-coated finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
- Load Management: Always adhere to the specified weight limits for the cabinet and individual shelves to prevent structural damage.
- Rust Prevention: The special coating protects the cabinet from scratches and rust. However, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture or corrosive substances.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your SISESOL Metal Storage Cabinet.
7.1 Cabinet Wobbles After Assembly
- Solution: Adjust the leveling feet-screws located at the bottom of the cabinet. Use a flat-head screwdriver through the hidden holes on the bottom shelf to raise or lower each corner until the cabinet is stable.
7.2 Doors Do Not Stay Fully Closed Without Locking
- Cause: While the cabinet has a secure locking mechanism, the magnetic closures may sometimes require adjustment or reinforcement.
- Solution: Ensure the cabinet is level (see 7.1). Verify that the magnetic strips on the doors and frame are clean and properly aligned. An extra magnet is provided in the hardware kit; consider adding it to the door for increased magnetic strength if needed.
7.3 Dents or Bent Panels Upon Arrival
- Cause: Minor cosmetic imperfections can sometimes occur during shipping.
- Solution: For minor bends, it may be possible to gently bend the panel back into shape. If the damage is significant and affects assembly or appearance, please contact SISESOL customer service for assistance.
7.4 Missing Parts or Hardware
- Solution: Refer to the package contents list (Section 3) and the assembly instructions. If parts are genuinely missing, contact SISESOL customer service immediately for replacements.
