Thank you for choosing the VEVOR Dog Bike Trailer & Stroller. This 2-in-1 pet carrier is designed to provide a safe and comfortable way to transport your pet, whether you're cycling or jogging. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure proper operation and your pet's safety.

This product is suitable for pets weighing up to 88 lbs (40 kg) and is compatible with bicycles featuring wheel diameters of 22-28 inches.

Important Safety Information

  • Always ensure your pet is securely fastened inside the carrier using a pet restraint system.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 88 lbs (40 kg).
  • Regularly inspect the trailer/stroller for any signs of wear, damage, or loose parts before each use.
  • Ensure all quick-release mechanisms are properly secured.
  • When used as a bike trailer, attach the safety flag for increased visibility.
  • Recommended maximum speed is 8 MPH (13 KMH) on smooth surfaces and slowing to no more than 3 MPH (5 KMH) when turning or on uneven roads.
  • Never leave your pet unattended in the trailer/stroller.
  • Be aware of increased braking distance and turning radius when towing the trailer.
  • Consult a veterinarian if you have concerns about your pet's ability to travel in the carrier.

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your VEVOR Dog Bike Trailer & Stroller:

  1. Step 1: Unfold the Main Frame and Install Crossbar.

    Carefully unfold the main frame of the trailer. Locate and install the internal crossbar to secure the frame in its open position. Ensure it clicks into place firmly.

  2. Step 2: Attach Both Rear Wheels.

    Insert the inflatable rear wheels into the axle receivers on both sides of the trailer frame. Press the quick-release button on the wheel hub and slide the wheel into position until it locks securely. Repeat for the second wheel.

  3. Step 3: Attach the Front Wheel (Stroller Mode).

    For stroller mode, attach the front wheel assembly to the designated mounting point at the front of the trailer. Ensure it is securely locked.

  4. Step 4: Attach the Towing Bar and Safety Flag (Trailer Mode).

    For bike trailer mode, attach the towing bar to the front of the trailer frame using the provided quick-press locking element. Secure the safety flag into its receptacle on the trailer for visibility.

  5. Step 5: Connect to the Bicycle.

    Attach the universal bicycle coupler to the rear axle of your bicycle. Then, connect the towing bar of the pet trailer to this coupler. Ensure a secure connection and check that the safety strap is also attached to your bicycle frame as a backup.

  6. Step 6: Adjust Handle Height.

    The handle is adjustable to accommodate users of different heights. Press the adjustment buttons on the handle assemblies and set the handle to your desired height (from 30.91"/785 mm at 90° to 44.88"/1140 mm at 180°).

Operating Instructions

Using as a Pet Stroller

  • Ensure the front wheel assembly is securely attached and the towing bar is removed or folded away.
  • Open the zippered front or rear door to allow your pet to enter.
  • Secure your pet with the internal restraint system.
  • Adjust the handle to a comfortable height.
  • Utilize the mesh windows for ventilation or the PVC canvas layer for weather protection as needed.

Using as a Bike Trailer

  • Ensure the front wheel assembly is removed and the towing bar is securely attached to both the trailer and your bicycle.
  • Confirm the safety flag is installed and visible.
  • Open the zippered front or rear door for pet entry and secure your pet with the internal restraint.
  • Always maintain a safe speed, especially when turning or on uneven terrain.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the fabric with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals. Allow to air dry completely before folding or storing.
  • Wheel Care: Check tire pressure regularly. Ensure wheels spin freely and axles are clean.
  • Storage: For convenient storage and transport, the wheels are removable, and the frame folds and flips. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting
