6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your iFamily 936E Baby Monitor, please refer to the following common solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image/sound on Parent Unit | Units are not powered on or not paired. | Ensure both units are powered on and connected to power. If still no connection, try re-pairing (see below). |
| "Waiting for connection" message | Out of range or interference. | Move Parent Unit closer to Baby Unit. Ensure no large obstacles (e.g., thick walls, metal objects) are between units. Avoid other 2.4GHz devices. |
| Poor image quality/hazy night vision | Lens obstruction or insufficient light for night vision. | Clean the camera lens. Ensure the room is dark enough for night vision to activate properly. |
| Parent Unit battery drains quickly | ECO mode not enabled or battery degradation. | Enable ECO mode to conserve battery. Ensure the unit is fully charged before use. If battery life significantly decreases over time, it may be due to normal battery wear. |
| Interference/Static | Other electronic devices operating on 2.4GHz frequency. | Move the monitor away from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, microwaves). |
6.1 Re-pairing Instructions
If your units lose connection or you are adding a new camera:
- On the Parent Unit, navigate to the menu and select the 'Camera' or 'Add Camera' option.
- Select an available camera channel (e.g., CAM 1, CAM 2).
- Press the pairing button on the back of the Baby Unit (camera) within 10 seconds.
