Setup

1. Charging the Battery

The Sonim XP3 Plus XP3900 comes with a 3600 mAh Lithium Ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Data Cable and Micro USB charger. Connect the Micro USB end to the phone's charging port and the other end to a compatible power adapter.

A full charge enables working a full shift without recharging.
Ensure the charging port is clean and dry before connecting the cable.

2. Installing SIM Card and MicroSD Card

To install your SIM card and an optional MicroSD card (up to 256GB), locate the battery compartment on the back of the phone. Carefully remove the battery cover and battery. Insert the SIM card into the designated slot, ensuring proper orientation. If using, insert the MicroSD card into its slot. Replace the battery and battery cover securely.

Access the messaging application from the main menu to send and receive SMS and MMS messages. The 8.0 MP camera allows for sending picture messages.
