Setup
Attaching and Removing Attachments
The Parkside PKGA 20-Li C2 features a quick and tool-free attachment change system.
- Ensure the motor unit is switched off and the battery is removed before attaching or removing any accessories.
- Align the desired attachment (PKGA1, PKGA3, or PKGA4) with the motor unit's connection point.
- Push the attachment firmly onto the motor unit until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove an attachment, press the release button (if present) or pull the attachment firmly away from the motor unit.
Inserting/Removing Battery
This tool is compatible with all batteries from the PARKSIDE X 20V Team series.
- To insert the battery, slide it into the battery slot on the motor unit until it clicks into place.
- To remove the battery, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.
Operating Instructions
The motor unit features continuous speed control, left/right rotation (for drill/driver), and Quick-Stop functionality.
1. Drill/Driver Attachment (PKGA1)
This attachment is designed for drilling and screwdriving tasks.
- Chuck: Features a single-sleeve quick-release chuck with SPINDLE LOCK for easy bit changes. Maximum chuck capacity is 13 mm.
- Torque Settings: Offers 19 torque levels plus 1 drilling level. Adjust the torque ring to the desired setting for screwdriving to prevent over-tightening or stripping screws. Select the drill symbol for drilling applications.
- Speed Control:
- 1st Gear (no-load speed): 0-400 rpm (for high torque applications like screwdriving or large diameter drilling)
- 2nd Gear (no-load speed): 0-1350 rpm (for faster drilling)
- Rotation Direction: Use the forward/reverse switch for clockwise (drilling/screwing in) or counter-clockwise (screwing out) rotation.
2. Reciprocating Saw Attachment (PKGA3)
Ideal for cutting wood, metal, and plastic with a tool-free quick-release chuck for saw blades.
- Blade Installation: Insert the appropriate saw blade (metal or wood) into the quick-release chuck until it locks. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Stroke Rate: No-load stroke rate of 0-3200 min⁻¹. The stroke length is 22 mm.
- Operation: Hold the tool firmly with both hands. Place the shoe plate against the workpiece before starting the saw. Apply steady, even pressure.
3. Multi-function Attachment (PKGA4)
This attachment is suitable for various tasks such as sawing, scraping, and sanding, with a tool-free quick-change system allowing tools to be positioned in variable working directions.
- Accessory Installation: Attach the desired accessory (plunge saw blade, scraper knife, or sanding pad) to the multi-function head. The system allows for variable positioning to suit the working angle.
- Oscillation Rate: No-load oscillation rate of 0-20000 rpm. The oscillation angle is 3.0°.
- Sanding: Attach the delta sanding pad and the appropriate sanding sheet. Use for sanding wood, plastic, or metal surfaces.
