3. Setup

- Charging:

- Install Side Brushes: Gently push the side brushes onto their respective posts on the underside of the robot until they click into place.

- Fill the water reservoir (if separate, or dampen the pad directly if integrated) according to instructions.

4. Operating Instructions
The Techwood TAR-2036 can be operated via the power button on the unit or the remote control.
4.1 Starting a Cleaning Cycle
- Using the Robot Button: Press the power button on the top of the robot (refer to Figure 2.1). The robot will start cleaning in automatic mode.
- Using the Remote Control: Press the "Start/Pause" button on the remote control.
4.2 Pausing/Resuming Cleaning
Press the power button on the robot or the "Start/Pause" button on the remote control to pause or resume the cleaning cycle.
4.3 Stopping Cleaning
To stop the cleaning cycle, press and hold the power button on the robot for a few seconds, or use the "Power" button on the remote control (if available, otherwise press Start/Pause twice or send it to dock).
4.4 Cleaning Modes
Your robot vacuum offers various cleaning modes, typically accessible via the remote control:
- Auto Clean: The robot automatically navigates and cleans the entire area.
- Spot Clean: The robot cleans a specific small area intensively.
- Edge Clean: The robot cleans along walls and furniture edges.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.
5.1 Emptying the Dustbin
- Press the dustbin release button and remove the dustbin from the robot.
- Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a trash bin.
- Reinsert the dustbin into the robot until it clicks into place.
5.2 Cleaning the Filter
The HEPA filter is washable. Clean it regularly to maintain suction power.
- Remove the filter from the dustbin.
- Rinse the filter under running water until clean.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the dustbin. Do not use the robot with a wet filter.
5.3 Cleaning Side Brushes
Remove any hair or debris tangled around the side brushes. If brushes are worn, replace them.
5.4 Cleaning the Mopping Pad
After each mopping cycle, remove the mopping pad and wash it thoroughly. Allow it to air dry before reattaching.
5.5 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe the sensors and charging contacts on the robot and charging base with a dry, soft cloth to ensure proper function.
