5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

The RBM2000D supports dual voltage input (120V or 240V). The machine automatically detects the input voltage. Ensure your power source matches the welder's requirements and that the circuit has adequate amperage capacity.

5.2 Wire Installation (MIG/Flux Core)

This welder is designed to use 2-pound (1kg) rolls of welding wire. It supports 0.030" (0.8mm), 0.035" (0.9mm), and 0.040" (1.0mm) solid wire and flux-cored wire.

  1. Open the wire feed compartment.
  2. Place the wire spool onto the spindle, ensuring it rotates freely.

6.1 Gas MIG (GMAW)

6.2 Gasless Flux-Cored Wire MIG (FCAW)

6.5 Spot Welding

6.6 Synergic Control

The synergic control feature simplifies setup by automatically adjusting voltage and wire feed speed based on the selected wire size. This makes the machine easy to use for both beginners and experienced welders. Simply select the wire size, and the machine will suggest optimal parameters.

7. Welding Guidelines

The RBM2000D can weld materials up to 1/4 inch (6mm) thick. Please note that this welder does not support aluminum welding.
