Setup and Installation
Component Overview
Image: Detailed view of the dimmer module, highlighting the Match Key, Minimum Brightness Set Key, and the Leading Edge/Trailing Edge Dimmer Turnable switch.
- Match Key: Used for pairing with remote controls and smart devices.
- Min. Brightness Set Key: Adjusts the minimum brightness level (options: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%).
- Leading Edge/Trailing Edge Key: Selects the dimming type.
Mechanical Structure and Connections
Image: Diagram illustrating the mechanical dimensions, connection points (Match key, DIP switch, 0/1-10V signal output, GND, AC N input, AC L input, AC Push in A1/A2), and typical wall junction box mounting process.
- DIP Switch: Located on the module, this switch allows selection between 0-10V and 1-10V output modes. Ensure this is set correctly for your dimmable driver.
- AC N Input / AC L Input: Connect the neutral and live AC power lines here.
- AC Push In (A1/A2): Connect an external push button switch to these terminals for local control.
- 0/1-10V Signal Output: Connect these terminals to the 0/1-10V input of your dimmable LED driver.
- GND: Ground connection.
The module is designed for easy placement within a standard wall junction box behind a push button switch.
Wiring Diagram
Follow the wiring diagram carefully to ensure correct and safe installation.
Image: Electrical wiring diagram showing connections for AC power (N, L), the dimmer module (AC IN, AC Push A1/A2, 0/1-10V OUT), an external push switch, and a 0/1-10V dimmable driver connected to a single color LED strip.
- Connect the AC power supply (AC100-240V) to the N and L terminals of the dimmer module.
- Connect the external push button switch to the A1 and A2 terminals.
- Connect the 0/1-10V output terminals (DIM+, DIM-) of the dimmer module to the corresponding 0/1-10V input terminals of your dimmable LED driver.
- Ensure the dimmable LED driver is correctly connected to your LED lighting.
- Important Note: It is recommended that the number of LED drivers connected to one 0/1-10V dimmer does not exceed 50 pieces. The maximum length of wires from the dimmer to the LED driver should not exceed 50 meters.
- After wiring, switch off the power, then switch on power again to ensure proper initialization.
Operating Instructions
Push-Dim Function (External Push Button Switch)
- Short Press: Turns the light on or off.
- Long Press (1-6 seconds): Initiates stepless dimming. With every subsequent long press, the light level will dim in the opposite direction (e.g., if it was dimming up, it will dim down).
- The light on/off fade time is optionally 3 seconds. This can be adjusted by immediately short pressing the match key 3 times after power on. The on/off time will change between 3 seconds and 0.5 seconds.
APP Network Connection and Operation (Zigbee)
- Reset Zigbee Network: Press and hold the Match/Set button on the dimmer module for 2 seconds.
- Enter Configuration Mode: To clear previous network connections and enter configuration mode, press and hold the Match/Set key for 5 seconds, or press the Match/Set key twice quickly. The blue LED indicator will flash rapidly.
- Connect via APP: Open your Zigbee compatible smart home APP (e.g., Tuya Smart Life) and follow the in-app instructions to add a new device.
- Confirmation: If the APP network connection is successful, the blue LED on the module will stop flashing. You should find the device (labeled as ZB-DIM or similar) within your APP.
- APP Interface Operation: Within the APP, you can touch the brightness slider to adjust the brightness, control on/off, set delayed actions, schedule operations, and configure scene functions.
RF Remote Control (T11)
The L1(WZ) dimmer module is compatible with RF 2.4G single zone or multi-zone dimming remote controls, such as the T11 4-zone touch remote control. Refer to the remote control's specific manual for pairing instructions. The L1(WZ) controller can also function as a Zigbee-RF converter, allowing the APP to synchronously control one or more RF dimming LED controllers or drivers.
