5. Setup and Installation
The SIXTOP Android Car Stereo is designed for direct fitment in Subaru Legacy and Outback models manufactured between 2003 and 2009. Professional installation is recommended.
5.1 Pre-Installation Check
- Ensure your vehicle is a Subaru Legacy or Outback (2003-2009 model year).
- Verify all package contents are present as listed in Section 3.
- Disconnect the vehicle's battery before beginning installation to prevent electrical shorts.
5.2 Main Unit Installation
Carefully remove the original car stereo and trim. Install the new SIXTOP unit using the provided frame and installation tools. Connect the power cable, speaker wires, and other necessary connections to the vehicle's wiring harness.

5.3 Rear Camera Installation
Install the AHD rear camera at the rear of your vehicle, typically near the license plate. Route the camera cable to the main unit. Connect the camera's power cable to the car's reverse light positive pole (marked as "Reverse" or "Back" on the control wire) and ground. Connect the video signal cable to the corresponding input on the car stereo.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Apple CarPlay / Android Auto / Mirror Link
To use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, ensure your phone's WiFi and Bluetooth are enabled. Connect your phone via Bluetooth, then open the [CPLINK] or [Android Auto] app on the stereo. Alternatively, use a USB cable to connect your phone and open the respective app. Mirror Link allows you to cast your phone's screen to the stereo; select the [CarbitLink] app and connect via WiFi.

6.2 DSP 32EQ Audio Customization
The Digital Sound Processor (DSP) with 32-band Equalizer (EQ) allows you to fine-tune the audio output. Access the DSP settings to adjust sound effects like 3D optimized, Panorama, and HiFi scene. You can customize frequency bands, balance, and fade to achieve your preferred sound quality.

6.3 FM/RDS & Network Radio
Tune into local FM radio stations with RDS support for station information. For a wider selection, connect to the internet via WiFi and access network radio, which provides access to mainstream radio stations from over 20 countries and regions globally.

6.4 WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS Navigation
Connect to a WiFi hotspot to download apps, stream online music, and watch videos. Bluetooth 5.0 ensures fast and stable connections for hands-free calling and audio streaming. The built-in GPS supports multiple satellite systems (GPS/Galileo/Glonass) for precise navigation. You can download offline maps from the Play Store or use online maps when connected to WiFi.

6.5 AI Intelligent Voice Control
Activate the AI voice assistant by clicking the Voice APP. You can then issue voice commands for various tasks, such as calling contacts, playing specific music, tuning radio stations, or opening installed applications. For example, say "Play Michael Jackson's song" to play music.

6.6 Steering Wheel Control Function
To use your vehicle's original steering wheel buttons, navigate to the car settings on the stereo and configure the steering wheel controls. This allows for convenient and safe operation of audio functions without taking your hands off the wheel.

6.7 Reversing Display
When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the stereo automatically displays the clear image from the waterproof night vision AHD camera. Ensure the camera resolution is correctly set in the radio factory settings (AHD: 720P 25fps).
6.8 Split Screen Function and Themes
The split-screen function allows you to run two applications simultaneously. Click the rectangle icon at the top of the screen, select a browsing page, and drag it to either the left or right side of the screen. You can also personalize your stereo's appearance by choosing from 59 different desktop themes. Long-press a blank space on the homepage to change the theme.

6.9 Global Weather Display
With an active internet connection, the stereo can display real-time weather information for global cities. This includes temperature (in Celsius or Fahrenheit), humidity, and wind conditions, providing useful information for your travels.

7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SIXTOP Android Car Stereo, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics to clean the touchscreen. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or solvents, as these can damage the screen coating.
- Dust Removal: Regularly wipe down the unit's exterior to prevent dust buildup. Use compressed air to clear dust from vents and ports if necessary.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates through the system settings. Keeping the software updated can improve performance, add new features, and fix bugs.
- Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the unit to extreme hot or cold temperatures for prolonged periods, as this can affect electronic components.
- Cable Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Loose connections can lead to intermittent issues.
