3. Product Overview

The STEMTRON Programmable Robot Dog/Cat is an interactive robotic pet designed for children aged 3 and up. It features advanced head touch sensing, LED eyes, and various programmable actions including dancing and playing music.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Robot

The robot is powered by a rechargeable 3.7V 400mAh Lithium Ion battery (included). A full charge provides approximately 1 hour of playtime.

  1. Locate the charging port on the robot.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the robot's charging port and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
  4. Charging typically takes approximately 60-90 minutes.

4.2 Installing Remote Control Batteries

The remote control requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included).

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

6. Programming Functions

The robot allows for custom programming of action sequences, enhancing problem-solving skills.

  1. Press the Gear Icon button on the remote control to enter programming mode. The robot will indicate it's ready for input.
  2. Press the desired action buttons on the remote control in the sequence you wish the robot to perform. Each press records an action.
  3. Once all actions are recorded, press the Gear Icon button again to exit programming mode and execute the sequence.
  4. The robot will perform the programmed actions.

7. Interactive Features

7.1 Touch Sensing

The robot's head is equipped with touch sensors. Gently touch the robot's head to trigger various responses, such as barking, happy sounds, or performing small actions like push-ups.

7.2 LED Eyes

The robot's LED eyes display different patterns and colors to convey emotions and indicate various modes of operation.

7.3 Music and Dance

Press the Music Note or Dancing Figure buttons on the remote control to activate music and dance routines. The robot can perform 5 different dances.

Use the Speaker Icon (+/-) buttons on the remote control to cycle through 5 different volume settings.
