Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your FRTONYI Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder Set. Please read thoroughly before first use to ensure proper functionality and longevity of your product.

Safety Information

• Keep the grinders out of reach of children.
• Do not immerse the main body of the grinders in water or any other liquid. Wipe clean with a damp cloth only.
• Use only the specified Type-C charging cable provided with the product.
• Avoid contact with moving parts during operation.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the grinders yourself. Contact customer support if issues arise.
• Ensure the spice chamber is securely locked before operation.

Setup

1. Charging the Grinders

Before first use, fully charge both grinders. Connect the provided Type-C USB charging cable to the port on the top of each grinder and to a suitable USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status.

2. Filling the Spice Chamber

1. Hold the grinder firmly and twist the transparent spice chamber counter-clockwise to align the arrow with the unlock symbol.
2. Gently pull the chamber apart from the main body.
3. Fill the transparent chamber with your desired whole spices (e.g., peppercorns, coarse salt). Do not overfill.
4. Align the chamber with the main body and twist clockwise until the arrow aligns with the lock symbol to secure it.

Operating Instructions

1. Grinding Spices

To operate the grinder, simply press and hold the button located on the top section of the main body. The grinder will automatically start grinding, and the built-in LED light will illuminate to provide visibility for precise seasoning. Release the button to stop grinding.

2. Adjusting Coarseness

The grinders feature 5 adjustable coarseness levels. To change the grind size, remove the dustproof lid from the bottom of the grinder. Turn the knob at the bottom clockwise for a finer grind or counter-clockwise for a coarser grind.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the grinders with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
• Grinder Mechanism Cleaning: Use the provided small brush to clean any residual spice particles from the grinding mechanism at the bottom of the unit.
• Spice Chamber Cleaning: The transparent spice chamber can be detached and rinsed with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching and refilling with spices.
• Dishwasher Safety: The FRTONYI Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder Set is NOT dishwasher safe.

Troubleshooting

• Grinder not operating: Ensure the grinder is fully charged. Check that the spice chamber is correctly attached and locked into place.
• Inconsistent or no spice output: Verify that the spice chamber contains enough spices. Check the coarseness setting and ensure no large foreign objects are obstructing the grinding mechanism. Use the cleaning brush to clear any blockages.
• LED light not working: The LED light only illuminates when the grinder is actively grinding. If it does not light up during operation, ensure the unit is charged and functioning correctly.
