Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove the throwing pin and all 12 numbered skittles from the wooden storage box.
- Choose a Playing Area: Select a flat, open area, either indoors (e.g., living room, classroom) or outdoors (e.g., park, garden). Ensure there is enough space for throwing and for the skittles to fall without obstruction.
- Arrange Skittles: Place the 12 numbered skittles in a tight group, typically in a triangular formation, approximately 3-4 meters away from the throwing line. The standard arrangement is:
- Row 1: Skittles 1, 2
- Row 2: Skittles 3, 10, 4
- Row 3: Skittles 5, 11, 12, 6
- Row 4: Skittles 7, 9, 8
- Establish Throwing Line: Mark a throwing line 3-4 meters from the front skittle. Players must throw from behind this line.

Operating Instructions (How to Play)
The Skittle Game is typically played by two or more teams. The objective is to be the first team to reach exactly 50 points.
- Teams: Divide players into teams. Recommended team sizes are 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4, but any number of players can participate.
- Starting the Game: Teams take turns throwing the throwing pin at the grouped skittles. The first player throws from behind the throwing line.
- Throwing Technique: The throwing pin should be thrown underhand. The grip and throwing style are flexible, as long as it's an underhand throw.
- Resetting Skittles: After each throw, any fallen skittles are stood back up exactly where they landed. This means the playing area will expand as the game progresses.
- Continuing Play: The next team then takes their turn. The game continues with teams alternating throws.

Scoring
- One Skittle Down: If only one skittle is knocked down, the player scores points equal to the number written on that skittle.
- Multiple Skittles Down: If two or more skittles are knocked down, the player scores points equal to the number of skittles fallen (not their numbered values).
- Partially Fallen Skittles: A skittle is only counted as "down" if it is completely lying on the ground. If it is leaning against another skittle or the throwing pin, it does not count.

Image: A visual explanation of scoring: if only one skittle falls, the score is the number on that skittle (e.g., 10 points for skittle #10).

Image: A visual explanation of scoring: if multiple skittles fall, the score is the count of fallen skittles (e.g., 3 points for 3 fallen skittles).
Game End Conditions
- Winning: The first team to reach exactly 50 points wins the game.
- Over 50 Points: If a team scores more than 50 points, their score is reset to 25 points, and they continue playing from there.
- Three Consecutive Misses: If a team fails to knock down any skittles for three consecutive turns, they are disqualified from the game.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the wooden components with a dry or slightly damp cloth after use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store all components in the provided wooden box in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prevent warping or damage to the wood.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the skittles and throwing pin for any signs of wear or damage. Discontinue use if any parts are broken or splintered to prevent injury.
