Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Terra Xtreme 16MP camera requires 8 AA batteries (not included). For best performance, use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries.
- Open the camera housing by unlatching the side clips.
- Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment securely.

2. SD Card Installation
A Class 4 or higher SD card (up to 32GB, not included) is required to store images and videos.
- With the camera housing open, locate the SD card slot on the side of the internal display.
- Insert the SD card with the label facing up until it clicks into place.
- To remove, push the card in until it springs out.
3. Mounting the Camera
The camera comes with an adjustable tree strap for easy mounting.
- Thread the adjustable tree strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
- Secure the camera to a tree or post at the desired height and angle. Ensure the camera is stable and pointed towards the area you wish to monitor.
- Alternatively, the camera features a 1/4-20 threaded insert on the bottom for use with a tripod or other mounting accessories.

Operating the Camera
Powering On/Off
To power on the camera, slide the main switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide the switch to 'OFF'.

Menu Navigation and Settings
Once powered on, the internal display allows you to configure camera settings. Use the 'MENU' button to access the settings, the arrow buttons to navigate options, and the 'ENTER' button to confirm selections.
- Setting Date and Time: It is crucial to set the correct date and time for accurate record-keeping. Navigate to the 'Date/Time' setting in the menu and adjust using the arrow keys.
- Mode Selection: Choose between Photo, Video, or Photo+Video modes.

Capturing Media

Maintenance
