Setup

1. Attaching Your Smartphone

1. Gently pull apart the smartphone holder clamps.
2. Insert your smartphone into the holder, ensuring it is centered and securely gripped by the silicone pads. The holder accommodates phones approximately 60-85mm wide.

2. Pairing the Bluetooth Remote Control

1. Remove the Bluetooth remote control from its slot on the grip.
2. Turn on the remote control (usually by pressing and holding the button until an indicator light flashes).
3. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
4. Select "Ulanzi Remote" or a similar name to pair. The indicator light on the remote will stop flashing once paired.
5. The remote is compatible with iOS 10.0+ and Android 5.0+ devices.

3. Attaching Accessories (Optional)

Utilize the two cold shoe mounts on the smartphone holder to attach external accessories such as microphones or LED lights for enhanced audio or lighting.

Operating Instructions

Handgrip Mode

Hold the device by its ergonomic handle for stable, single-handed smartphone operation. This mode mimics the feel of a DSLR camera grip, ideal for vlogging and live streaming.

Selfie Stick Mode

1. Fold the tripod legs inward to form a handle.
2. Extend the telescopic rod to your desired length. The rod has 4 adjustable stages and can extend up to 36.5cm.
3. Use the Bluetooth remote control to capture photos or start/stop video recording.

Mini Tripod Mode

1. Unfold the tripod legs and place the device on a flat, stable surface.
2. Adjust the height using the telescopic rod if needed.
3. Use the Bluetooth remote for hands-free photography or videography, group photos, or online meetings.

Smartphone Stand Mode

With the tripod legs folded or unfolded, the device can serve as a convenient stand for watching videos or making video calls.

Adjusting Phone Orientation

  • Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and it is within the 10m operating range.
• Remote connected but phone shutter not responding:
  • Verify that your smartphone's camera settings have the volume key set as the shutter button.
• Remote frequently disconnects:
  • This may indicate a low battery. Replace the CR1225 battery.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and your phone.
