3.3 Sink and Countertop Installation
The countertop comes pre-drilled for a 3-hole faucet with an 8-inch widespread configuration.
- Place the basin on the bottom of the countertop.
- Use a pencil to mark the position of the basin on the countertop.
- Apply silicone sealant on the top edge of the basin.
- Flip the basin and carefully place it onto the marked position on the countertop. Allow 12 to 24 hours for the silicone to dry.
- Attach the undermount clips to secure the sink to the countertop.
- Apply silicone sealant around the top perimeter of the base cabinet.
- Carefully set the countertop with the attached sink onto the vanity base.
- Set the backsplash. Apply silicone on the countertop where the backsplash will sit and behind the backsplash for a secure fit.
- Wipe away any excess silicone immediately with a damp cloth.
