4. Setup and Installation

The TL05 tail light offers two primary mounting methods:

4.1. Saddle Rail Mounting

  1. Use two tie wraps (not included, typically zip ties) to pass through the mounting holes of the tail light base.
  2. Fix the base securely to the saddle rails.
  3. Rotate the tail light 90° clockwise onto the fixed base until it clicks into place.

4.2. Seat Post Mounting

  1. Fasten the base of the tail light to the seat post using the provided rubber band.
  2. Rotate the tail light 90° clockwise onto the fixed base until it clicks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off and Mode Switching

  • Power On/Off: Long press the switch button for approximately 2 seconds.
  • Switch Modes: Once powered on, a single click of the switch button will cycle through the five available light modes.
  • Switch Smart/Manual Modes: Double-click the switch button to toggle between Smart Mode and Manual Mode.

5.2. Light Modes and Runtimes

The TL05 features 5 distinct lighting modes:

  • Always On: Constant red light (Runtime: 20 hours)
  • Single Flash: Regular flashing (Runtime: 40 hours)
  • Breathing Flash: Gradual fade in/out (Runtime: 30 hours)
  • Rotation Flash: Rotating light pattern (Runtime: 30 hours)
  • Frequency Conversion Blinking: Variable frequency blinking (Runtime: 40 hours)

Note: In Manual Mode, the light sensor and vibration sensor functions are inactive.

5.3. Smart Mode Features

  • Brake Sensor: When braking is detected, the tail light will immediately switch to maximum brightness to alert other road users.
  • Light Sensor: The built-in highly sensitive light sensor automatically turns the light on when surroundings are dark and off when bright.
  • Vibration Sensor: The light will turn off after 120 seconds if no vibration is detected. If vibration is detected again, the light will automatically turn on.

5.4. Charging

The TL05 supports Type-C fast charging and can be fully charged in approximately 2 hours. It can be easily charged from a computer, wall charger, or mobile power bank.
