4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the removable pitcher and whisk(s) with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
3. Place Whisk: Ensure the frothing whisk is correctly placed at the bottom of the pitcher. For heating milk or chocolate without frothing, you might use a different whisk or remove the spring from the frothing whisk if applicable.
4. Position: Place the base unit on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Prepare the Pitcher: Ensure the correct whisk is inserted for your desired function (frothing or just heating).
2. Add Ingredients: Pour milk into the pitcher. Observe the internal MAX/MIN markings.
   • For heating milk or hot chocolate: Do not exceed the 350 ml (12.3 oz) MAX line.
   • For frothing milk (hot or cold): Do not exceed the 250 ml (8.5 oz) MAX line.
   • Always fill at least to the MIN line (typically 160 ml / 5.3 oz for heating/frothing).
3. Secure Lid: Place the transparent lid firmly on the pitcher.
4. Place Pitcher on Base: Position the pitcher onto the base unit. Ensure it is seated correctly, though it rotates freely.
5. Select Function: Use the control button on the base to select one of the 5 functions. The icons typically represent:
   • Dense Hot Froth
   • Light Hot Froth
   • Hot Chocolate (add chocolate powder/shavings to milk)
   • Heating Milk (no froth)
   • Cold Froth
6. Start Operation: Press the power button to start the selected function. The indicator light will illuminate.
7. Automatic Shut-off: The frother will automatically stop when the process is complete or the temperature reaches 75°C (167°F).
8. Serve: Carefully remove the pitcher from the base and pour your frothed milk or hot beverage.
9. Cooling Period: After heating milk or chocolate, allow the machine to cool for at least 2 minutes before continuing to use it for another cycle. This prevents overheating and ensures optimal performance.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your Biolomix Milk Frother.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Clean Pitcher: The removable 304 food-grade stainless steel pitcher is dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash it by hand with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Clean Whisk: Remove the whisk from the pitcher and rinse it under running water. Use a small brush if necessary to remove any milk residue.
4. Clean Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
